Barcelona's recent performance in the Champions League has been lackluster, with early exits in recent seasons, and they have not won the competition since 2015. This poor performance has resulted in them not meeting the necessary ranking points to secure a spot in the expanded Club World Cup, which will be hosted in the United States.
