  • This past weekend, the Bobcat Round Robin Wrestling Tournament took place in Gainesville, drawing 31 schools from around the state for two days of intense competition.

The Bobcat Round Robin Wrestling Tournament, held at the Bobcat Gymnasium in Chiefland, Florida, featured nine local teams competing in a showcase of wrestling talent. The event, which took place on December 16, 2024, saw teams from various local schools, including Chiefland Middle High School, Cedar Key School, and Williston High School, among others. The tournament was not only a competition but also a community event, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participants. Highlights included standout performances by individual wrestlers, with several athletes securing first-place finishes in their respective weight classes.
