  • Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) distributed a grant of a total of Rs 12.5 lakh to 25 sports institutions across the city for hosting sporting events. Each of the institutions got Rs 50,000 for hosting the inter-school sports competitions held recently under the joint aegis of the IMC and the Madhya Pradesh Olympic

The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has allocated Rs 12.5 lakh to enhance sports facilities in Indore, aiming to foster sports culture and prepare for future mega events. This funding will support the development of sports infrastructure, including the construction of a new sports complex and the upgrade of existing facilities. The initiative is part of a broader plan to host significant sporting events in the city, with the goal of promoting Indore as a hub for sports in India. The IMC's efforts are also focused on encouraging youth participation in sports, providing them with better training environments, and potentially attracting national and international sports events to the city.
