  • TGL (short for Tomorrow's Golf League), an innovative indoor golf competition conceived by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, commenced its much-anticipated launch with Ludvig Aberg securing the first birdie in league history.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have launched TGL, a high-tech indoor golf league set to begin in January 2024. This innovative league features a unique format where players hit shots into a screen on a 64x46 foot field, with the final shots played on a dynamic green that can change its shape. The league will consist of six teams with three players each, playing matches on Monday nights, aiming to attract a new audience to golf through its tech-forward approach. The initiative is backed by the PGA Tour and includes a significant investment from investors like Steve Cohen, aiming to blend technology with traditional golf to enhance viewer engagement.
