Rafa Benitez could get Chelsea reunion as ex-Liverpool boss lined up for return to coaching

Rafa Benitez, the former manager of Liverpool and Chelsea, is being considered for a return to coaching with Celta Vigo, a club he has been linked with previously. Currently, Celta Vigo is facing relegation concerns in La Liga, sitting just above the relegation zone. Benitez, who has been out of work since leaving Everton in January 2022, could be the experienced hand needed to steer the team away from relegation. His potential appointment comes at a time when Celta Vigo has seen a managerial change with Rafa Benitez's compatriot, Claudio Giraldez, taking over from the sacked Rafael Benitez. This move would mark a reunion with Chelsea, where Benitez had a brief stint as interim manager in 2012-2013, as he aims to bring stability and success to Celta Vigo.
