Jack Jordan wins Taranaki Sports Awards senior Sportsman for second year

  • New Zealand's three-peat world champion axeman Jack Jordan has another trophy to add to the cabinet. Jordan, originally from Taranaki but who now lives in Taumarunui, won the Taranaki Sports Awards senior sportsman award for his efforts in woodchopping for a second year in a row.

Jack Jordan has been named the Taranaki Sports Awards Senior Sportsman for the second consecutive year, recognizing his outstanding performance in cycling. The Stratford cyclist, who has been a dominant force in the sport, was celebrated for his achievements which include winning the New Zealand Cycle Classic and the Tour of Southland. His success continued internationally, where he competed in Europe, showcasing his talent on a global stage.
