Dress code on Jalur Gemilang being drafted
- Youth and sports minister Hannah Yeoh said this was necessary following the wrong depiction of the Jalur Gemilang (national flag) on the attire of national badminton men's singl
The Malaysian government, through the National Unity Ministry, is currently drafting a dress code for the Jalur Gemilang, the national flag, to ensure it is treated with respect. This initiative follows observations of inappropriate handling of the flag during National Day celebrations. The draft will be presented to the Cabinet for approval, and once finalized, the guidelines will be disseminated to the public to promote proper etiquette in handling the national flag.
