Olympic slalom champion Petra Vlhova still has discomfort in her right knee that was surgically repaired last winter and will undergo more medical tests in mid-January.

Petra Vlhova, the 2022 Olympic slalom champion, is set to return to the Alpine skiing World Cup after a significant injury. She suffered a severe knee injury, including an ACL tear, during a giant slalom race in January 2023, which forced her to miss the remainder of the season. Her comeback is scheduled for the World Cup slalom in Jasna, Slovakia, on January 20, 2024, which is also her home race.
