  • The Heisman Trophy race is nearly over, and with the ceremony on Saturday, college football fans have debated long enough. With many fans thinking Colorado football's Travis Hunter will win the 2024 Heisman Award,

Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes, finished 10th in the Heisman Trophy voting for the 2023 season. Despite a challenging year where the team ended with a 4-8 record, Sanders showcased his talent by throwing for 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns, while also adding four rushing touchdowns. His performance was notable enough to earn him a spot in the top 10, although he was well behind the winner, LSU's Jayden Daniels, who received 503 first-place votes. Sanders' ranking reflects his individual skill and potential, even as his team struggled, highlighting his capability to perform under pressure.
