Tulane lands well-traveled quarterback T.J. Finley out of the transfer portal

TJ Finley, a quarterback who previously played for Auburn and Texas State, has transferred to Tulane University. Finley, who has two years of eligibility left, announced his commitment to Tulane via social media. At Auburn, he played in 13 games over three seasons, starting five, with a notable performance in the 2021 Iron Bowl where he threw for 274 yards and a touchdown. After transferring to Texas State, he started the first five games of the 2023 season, throwing for 910 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions before an injury sidelined him. His move to Tulane comes as the team looks to replace their previous quarterback, Michael Pratt, who has moved on to the NFL.
