Janah Ochea Lavador, a 17-year-old Filipina athlete, secured three bronze medals at the 6th Asian Vovinam Championships held in Da Nang, Vietnam. She earned her medals in the women's long weapon, women's short weapon, and women's couple events. Despite facing challenges such as a lack of training partners and limited resources, Lavador's performance was commendable, showcasing her skill and determination in the Vietnamese martial art of Vovinam. Her achievements were highlighted by her coach, who noted her potential and the need for more support to further her career in this sport.
