Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal as Inter Milan secured a 1-0 victory over Sparta Prague in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie. Martinez's goal came in the 77th minute, capitalizing on a defensive error by Sparta Prague. Despite Inter's dominance in possession and numerous scoring opportunities, they struggled to convert chances into goals, with Martinez's strike being the decisive moment. The match also saw Inter's Marko Arnautovic miss a penalty, and there were several close calls, including a shot by Alexis Sanchez that hit the post. Inter's defense, led by Yann Sommer, managed to keep a clean sheet, ensuring they take a narrow lead into the second leg.
