In their inaugural road competition of the season, the top-ranked Oklahoma women's gymnastics team triumphed over No. 10 Alabama with a score of 197.550 to 196.300 on Friday night at Coleman Coliseum.
The Oklahoma gymnastics team secured a significant victory over Alabama with a final score of 197.925 to 197.475. This win was highlighted by standout performances from several team members. Jordan Bowers led the charge with an all-around score of 39.750, including a perfect 10 on vault. Freshman Faith Torrez also shone, earning a 9.95 on vault and contributing to the team's success on other events. Katherine LeVasseur added to the team's momentum with a 9.95 on floor exercise. The Sooners' performance was well-rounded, with strong showings across all four events, helping them maintain their undefeated record in the season.
