  • The All India Sports Control Board, New Delhi, is organizing the 24th All India Police Water Sports Competition from February 17 to 21 at Upper Lake, said Commandant 7th SAF, Hitesh Chaudhary, on Saturday.

The 24th All India Police Water Sports Championship is scheduled to take place from February 17 to 21, 2024, at Bhopal's Upper Lake. This event will see participation from 26 teams representing various police forces across India, including states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Kerala, as well as central forces like the BSF and CRPF. The competition will feature events such as canoeing, kayaking, and rowing, with over 1,000 athletes competing. The championship not only promotes water sports but also serves as a platform for police personnel to enhance their physical fitness and competitive spirit. The event is organized by the Madhya Pradesh Police, with the venue being the picturesque Upper Lake, which is also known as Bhojtal.
