Mondo Duplantis 'shakes off rust' with season-opening win in Berlin

Mondo Duplantis, the world record holder in pole vaulting, kicked off his season with a victory at the ISTAF Indoor Berlin, clearing a height of 5.92 meters. Despite feeling a bit rusty, Duplantis managed to win the competition, although he did not attempt to break his own world record of 6.23 meters. He expressed satisfaction with his performance, noting that it was a good start to the season and that he was looking forward to improving as the year progresses. His next competition is scheduled in France.
