Bismarck Chips place second at nationals

The Bismarck Chips ice skaters obtained silver at their national synchronized skating competition in Colorado Springs.

The Bismarck High School boys' golf team, known as the Bismarck Chips, secured a second-place finish at the National High School Golf Invitational held at Fields Ranch in Frisco, Texas. The team, consisting of seniors Carson Skarperud, Jack Johnson, and Charlie Solberg, along with sophomore Dawson Jeannotte, finished with a total score of 603 over two days. They were just one stroke behind the winners, St. Anthony's from New York. Dawson Jeannotte led the team with a score of 147, tying for fourth place individually. The team's performance was highlighted by their ability to bounce back from a challenging first day, showcasing their resilience and skill on a national stage.
