Wolfley, who was drafted in the sixth round by the Steelers in 1980, spent nine seasons with the team, contributing to their success in the 1980s, including two Super Bowl victories. After his playing career, which also included a stint with the Vikings, he transitioned into broadcasting, becoming a well-known figure in Pittsburgh sports media. He worked as a color commentator for the Steelers Radio Network and was involved in various media roles, including hosting a podcast and providing analysis on local sports shows. Wolfley was remembered for his engaging personality, his deep knowledge of the game, and his contributions to both the sport and the community.
