Jon Lewis leaves role as England Women's Head Coach

Jon Lewis has stepped down from his role as the head coach of England Women's cricket team to focus on his position with the UP Warriorz in the Women's Premier League (WPL). His departure comes after leading England to the semi-finals of the Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa. Lewis, who took over from Lisa Keightley in November 2022, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and his pride in the team's progress, particularly in their aggressive playing style. He will continue to support England as a consultant during the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Pakistan. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has initiated the search for a new head coach, with Lewis set to assist in the transition.
