North Allegheny senior, Sarah Everitt, has achieved a significant milestone in her skating career by winning a gold medal at the 2023 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships held in Angers, France. Representing the Team USA's Skyliners Junior team, Everitt and her teammates secured the top spot with a total score of 197.88, narrowly defeating Team Canada's NEXXICE by just 0.16 points. This victory marks a personal triumph for Everitt, who has been involved in synchronized skating since she was 10, and it highlights her dedication and the rigorous training she underwent, balancing her athletic commitments with her academic responsibilities.
