Mensik upsets Djokovic to win Miami Open

Novak Djokovic, the world No. 1, was defeated by 18-year-old Czech qualifier Jakub Mensik in the semifinals of the Miami Open, preventing Djokovic from reaching his 100th career title. Mensik, ranked 131st, showcased an impressive performance, defeating the 24-time Grand Slam champion 6-4, 7-5. This victory not only marked Mensik's first ATP final but also highlighted his potential as a rising star in tennis. Djokovic, despite the loss, expressed admiration for Mensik's game and acknowledged the teenager's bright future in the sport.
