  • Annett was 6-for-10 passing with 77 yards and a touchdown Saturday in the Boise State spring game. Max Cutforth was 2-for-5 throwing for 19 yards.

In the Boise State spring game, redshirt freshman quarterback Kaleb Annett showcased his skills, completing 12 of 16 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 25 yards. Despite his strong performance, the competition for the backup quarterback position behind starter Taylen Green remains open, with redshirt sophomore Maddux Madsen also in the running. Annett's performance was highlighted by a 25-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Austin Bolt, demonstrating his potential to contribute to the team. The ongoing competition for the QB2 spot is expected to continue into the fall camp, as both Annett and Madsen vie for the opportunity to be the primary backup to Green.
