  • No. 4 Duke got off to a slow start against Incarnate Word on Tuesday at Cameron Indoor Stadium but pulled away in the second half for a 72-46 win. The Blue Devils outscored UIW 44-25 in the second half for their fourth consecutive victory since falling to Kansas last month in Las Vegas.

Cooper Flagg, a highly-touted freshman for Duke, played just 22 minutes in Duke's 92-54 victory over Incarnate Word. Despite the limited playtime, Flagg made an impact with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. His performance was part of a broader strategy by Duke coach Jon Scheyer to manage the minutes of key players in a game that was never in doubt, allowing other team members to gain experience. Flagg's brief appearance still showcased his potential, contributing to Duke's dominant win and maintaining his reputation as one of the most exciting prospects in college basketball.
