The European Super League has relaunched with a new format called the "Unify League," aiming to address the criticisms and issues that led to the collapse of the original proposal in 2021. The new plan includes a multi-divisional competition with 60 to 80 teams, ensuring no permanent members, and all teams will qualify based on domestic performance. This format seeks to enhance competition, increase financial distribution to clubs, and promote the growth of women's football. The proposal also emphasizes greater financial support for grassroots and amateur football, and commits to maintaining the traditional domestic league structures. The initiative is backed by A22 Sports Management, which has been working on refining the concept to make it more inclusive and sustainable, with the goal of unifying European football and providing a more equitable distribution of revenue.
