  • World Champion and former Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg says it is "difficult to imagine" Fernando Alonso stepping away from Formula 1 . And he has warned the Aston Martin star that it is "very difficult" to adjust to life after F1 after Alonso revealed that F1 2026 is set to be his last season.

Nico Rosberg, the 2016 Formula 1 World Champion, has issued a warning to Fernando Alonso following the latter's hints at retirement. Alonso, who has had a storied career with two world championships, has been contemplating his future in F1, especially after a challenging season with Aston Martin. Rosberg, speaking on Sky Sports F1, emphasized that Alonso's skills are still top-notch, and his experience and speed remain invaluable to any team. He cautioned that Alonso's potential retirement would be a significant loss for Formula 1, given his competitive edge and the mentorship he provides to younger drivers.
