J.J. Leigh, a senior on the West Virginia University gymnastics team, was named the Big 12 Co-Event Specialist of the Week following her performance at the Rutgers Quad Meet. Leigh achieved a career-high score of 9.925 on the balance beam, contributing to WVU's third-place finish. This recognition marks her first weekly award of the season and the second of her career. Additionally, Leigh has been a consistent performer, earning a spot on the All-Big 12 Team in 2023 and being named an All-American in 2022.
