NFL rumors: How competition committee feels about Packers' Tush Push proposal

The NFL's competition committee has expressed a lack of enthusiasm for the Green Bay Packers' proposal to ban the "tush-push" play, also known as the "Brotherly Shove," which has been notably effective for the Philadelphia Eagles. This play involves the quarterback being pushed forward by teammates to gain short yardage. Despite the Packers' concerns about the play's aesthetics and potential for injury, the committee, as reported by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, does not see a compelling reason to alter the current rules. The proposal would need to pass through several stages, including approval by the competition committee and a vote by NFL owners, but as of now, there seems to be little support for changing the rule.
