PA National Guard hosts regional Best Warrior competition

National Guard soldiers compete in the regional Best Warrior competition.
The Fort Indiantown Gap Regional Best Warrior Competition, held from April 21-25, 2024, at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, saw 24 Soldiers from the U.S. Army Reserve's 99th Readiness Division compete in a series of rigorous events to determine the best among them. The competition included challenges such as the Army Combat Fitness Test, land navigation, weapons proficiency, a 12-mile ruck march, and various warrior tasks and battle drills. The event not only tested the Soldiers' physical and mental endurance but also their leadership and teamwork skills. The winners, Spc. John Doe and Sgt. Jane Smith, will advance to the U.S. Army Reserve Command's Best Warrior Competition, representing the 99th Readiness Division. The competition underscores the Army's commitment to excellence and readiness, showcasing the dedication and capabilities of its Soldiers.
