The TGL, a new golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, is set to offer a substantial prize pot of $21million (£17.5m) for its inaugural season starting in January 2024. This league, which will feature six teams of three PGA Tour players each, will play matches on Monday nights in a custom-built arena in Florida. The prize money breakdown includes $9m (£7.5m) for the winning team, with the runners-up receiving $4m (£3.3m), and third place earning $2m (£1.6m). Additionally, there are individual awards: the top player in the season standings will receive $1.25m (£1m), and the player with the lowest single-round score will earn $500,000 (£416,000).
