Ohio State backup quarterback Devin Brown has entered the transfer portal but will remain with the team through the upcoming Cotton Bowl game against Missouri on December 29, 2023. Brown, who has been the backup to Kyle McCord, saw limited action this season, completing 12 of 22 passes for 197 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. His decision to enter the portal comes after he was not named the starter following McCord's departure to Syracuse. Brown's move to the transfer portal allows him to explore other opportunities while still contributing to Ohio State's postseason efforts.
