  • Shafali Verma has chipped in with useful knocks of 91 and 95 for Team A in the Senior Women's One-Day Challenger Trophy. Earlier, Shafali missed out on a berth in the Indian team for the ODI series against Ireland.

Shafali Verma, after being left out of the Indian women's cricket team for the upcoming ODI series against Ireland, made a strong case for her inclusion by scoring 91 and 95 runs in two consecutive matches for the India A team against England A. Her performances were part of a three-match T20 series where she showcased her aggressive batting style, hitting 12 fours and 4 sixes in the first match and 13 fours and 2 sixes in the second. Despite her recent exclusion from the senior team, Verma's consistent scoring and her ability to dominate the bowling attack underline her potential and readiness for international cricket. Her efforts were not enough to secure a win for India A in either game, but they certainly put her back in the spotlight for future selections.
