  • In yet another back-breaker for mid-major schools, New Mexico Star guard Donovan Dent has officially entered the transfer portal. The superstar won Mountain West Player of the Year honors for his incredible play in leading New Mexico to an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament.

Jaelen House, a standout guard for the University of New Mexico's basketball team and the Mountain West Conference Player of the Year, has entered the transfer portal. House, who averaged 16.9 points, 4.4 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game, led the Lobos to a 22-11 record and a third-place finish in the conference. His decision to transfer comes after a season where he was also named to the All-Mountain West First Team and the All-Defensive Team. House's departure is a significant loss for UNM, as he was instrumental in their success, including a notable upset over No. 22 San Diego State. His next move in college basketball remains to be seen, but his skills and accolades make him a highly sought-after transfer.
