The Dakar 2025 rally saw Toyota maintaining its dominance in Stage 3, with South African driver Henk Lategan extending his overall lead. Lategan, driving for Toyota Gazoo Racing, navigated the challenging 438km special stage from Al-Ula to Ha'il with precision, finishing ahead of his teammate Lucas Moraes. The stage was marked by tough navigation and rocky terrain, but Toyota's vehicles proved resilient. Lategan's performance not only solidified his position at the top of the leaderboard but also highlighted Toyota's strategic and mechanical superiority in the grueling rally. Meanwhile, competitors like Nasser Al-Attiyah faced setbacks, with Al-Attiyah losing time due to a navigation error, which allowed Lategan to pull further ahead in the overall standings.
